1-1-1 Doubling Spelling Rule Boom Cards™

The doubling spelling rule is one that always seems to confuse students. The 1-1-1 rule states that if the base word is a 1 syllable word, has 1 vowel and ends in 1 consonant you double the final consonant then add the suffix.

These Boom Cards™ allow students to practice this spelling skill.

Kids will get immediate feedback if they selected the correct spelling or not.
They will get visual cues, red if wrong, green if correct.
As well as an auditory 'ding' if the spelling is correct or a 'womp' if incorrect.
Kids LOVE these cute and interactive Boom Cards.
