My district just adopted the Bridges Math curriculum and with it the corresponding calendar piece Number Corner. It is a very HUGE calendar with so many pieces to go with it that need to be displayed. So since wall space is always limited in classrooms I put my Number Corner display up before school was over to see how much room I would have. And after putting it up I realized it needed a little flair. I'll be honest, plain black and white cards on a calendar just weren't going to cut it. So, I made my own.
I think I'm going to have to change a little bit of the layout, looking at it in a picture makes me see how crooked I staple. 😄
But I love how the cards for the days of the week and months came out! And the Number Corner banner gives the wall some much needed color!
All of the cards fit perfectly in the oversized Number Corner calendar. Each month is seasonal or holiday themed.
There are 2 color choices for each month. Solid color and rainbow color pattern.
I can't wait to start teaching my students Number Corner in the fall.
